We are happy to officially announce a new partnership between RHQ Network and ReHardware.ro.
For those who are not familiar with them, ReHardware is an online store focused on servers, professional components and refurbished hardware. The partnership comes at a good time for RHQ, as we continue expanding our infrastructure and adding capacity for our services.
For us, this collaboration is not only about purchasing hardware. We also want to make it easier for customers who would like to own their own server and colocate it directly with RHQ.

Why ReHardware?
In hosting, the hardware behind a service matters a lot, even if customers rarely see it.
Every VPS, game server or dedicated service ultimately runs on physical hardware. As the number of services and customers grows, having the right hardware for each workload and being able to expand when needed becomes increasingly important.
ReHardware works specifically in this area, providing professional servers and components, which makes the partnership a good match for the direction in which we are developing RHQ.
Not every server needs the same configuration. A virtualization node may benefit from a large amount of RAM and more CPU cores, while a game hosting node may depend much more on strong per-core performance. Other workloads may put more emphasis on storage, redundancy or upgradeability.
Working with a company that specializes in this area gives us another option when choosing hardware for future RHQ infrastructure.
What does this mean for RHQ customers?

If you want to own your own physical server, you can configure and purchase it directly from ReHardware.ro and then colocate it with RHQ.
You do not necessarily need to have the server delivered to your home, prepare everything yourself and then ship it to us separately.
The process can be arranged so that the server reaches RHQ directly, and our team can take care of the installation and initial setup.
Depending on the project, we can assist with the physical installation, networking, operating system setup and preparing the server for production.
In short, you choose the hardware you need and we can handle the colocation side of the process.
